Answers To Your Most Common Moving Queries

Yes, our movers undergo hands-on training and are evaluated on-site by our leadership team. We prefer hiring individuals with previous experience, but all new hires go through structured training, including video modules and field hierarchy. Each team member is carefully selected to ensure the highest quality service.
We accept debit/credit cards and Venmo (with a 3.5% processing fee), personal or certified checks, and cash.
The duration of a move varies. Apartments typically take 3-5 hours, while a whole home can take up to 8+ hours, depending on factors like stairs, accessibility, attics, basements, and appliance disconnection/reconnection.
Moving costs vary based on the time of year and specific factors. Apartment moves off-season (Fall/Winter) range from $375 - $875, and during peak season (Spring/Summer) from $420 - $980. Home moves start as low as $1,000, but the final cost depends on several factors.
Yes, tipping is appreciated if you believe we did a great job. It encourages our team to continue delivering excellent service.

It depends on the value of your items. For sentimental or high-value items, and for long-distance moves, insurance is recommended. We offer Basic Coverage and Full Coverage. See breakdown below:

Basic Coverage (Released Value Protection):

Coverage Amount: This is the most basic level of liability. Under this option, the mover assumes liability for no more than $0.60 per pound per item.
Cost: Basic coverage is included in the moving cost at no additional charge.
Compensation: If an item is lost or damaged, the reimbursement is based on the item's weight multiplied by $0.60 per pound, regardless of the item's actual value.

Full Value Protection:

Coverage Amount: This option offers more comprehensive coverage. Under Full Value Protection, the mover is liable for the replacement value of lost or damaged items, or the cost of repairs.
Cost: There is an additional charge for Full Value Protection, and the cost varies based on the declared value of your belongings.
Compensation: If an item is lost or damaged, the mover can choose to either repair the item, replace it with a similar item, or offer a cash settlement for the item's current market value. This provides much higher and more realistic compensation compared to Basic Coverage.

We follow a specific claims process. For basic coverage, the resolution is based on the weight of the item. For full coverage, we will repair, replace, or reimburse you. Our owners are hands-on in this process and will guide you through each step.
We ensure transparency in our estimates. Moves are charged hourly, so if unforeseen factors extend the move time, we will communicate any additional charges. We conduct a walkthrough and review the quote to ensure accuracy.
